Kazuko G. Stone was born in Tokyo, Japan
and later moved to New York, where she now lives.
She enjoys sharing her Japanese culture with others
through her art. She has written and illustrated
over two dozen children’s books published both here
in and Japan, some of which have been translated and
published in France, Portugal, China, Korea, and Thailand.
Her very popular “Stories Beneath the Willow Tree” series
is seeing multiple printings in Japan, and her
“Cool Melons – Turn to Frogs” book has earned
her starred reviews in the United States.
